Charlie the Chocolate Lab

Charlie has now been moved to a foster home where he will continue to rest. He will make weekly visits to see Dr Stork for a couple of months. He is getting around great with his casts and hisfoster mom reports he has even been enjoying the snow!

Charlie had his surgery today (12-1-09) to repair the damage to his front legs. Dr Stork said the surgery went well and he is expected to make a full recovery.

Charlie is a victim of animal abuse. He was thrown off a bridge in Sioux City, IA. Charlie suffered bilateral front leg fractures. He is in need of immediate surgery.
